Q: Do exchanges include cars?
A: In many cases yes, but you have to make the agreement with your exchange partner.

Q: May i exchange my rented home?
A: Normally yes, but the law can off course change from land to land,
and rental agreements can differ so check out if you have the right to do so.

Q: Can i trust my exchange partner don't damage my home?
A: Your exchange partner probably, could have the same concern about you, and this is why
it is important to write and maybe even talk in telephone before you make the exchange,
so you get to know each other to some degree beforehand, and there have been none
complaints of this character neither to us or any of the companies which have been in
the business for decades.

Q: What if some damage happen anyway?
A: Off course there can be accidents, in this case the person responsibel for the
accident, have to repair or pay for the damage.

Q: What if something goes wrong in my house, like a broken water pipe?
A: Then its lucky you have somebody in the house, who even now the telephone number where you
are staying, but anyway its a good idea, to have a nabour or friend your exchange partner

Q: How can you be free when other companies charge money?
A: We don't have a sales office in many countries, we don't send out fancy magazines, so
our expenses are low.

Q: Will you always be free?
A: We assume so, but we can not give any guaranties, but we can assure that already listed
users wont be charged anything, if we some day have to charge a fee.

Q: Will any other exchanger, swap with my not so fancy flat, in my little village?
A: Maybe you have to wait a bit longer, but there probably is somone who, either have
relatives where you live, and just need a simple place to stay, or somebody who
thinks your village could be a really cool place to visit.

Q: What about insurance?
A: You should check your insurance policy, maybe call the company to be sure there is now problems.

Q: What about my car insurance?
A: You sould check your insurance policy, if you intend to swap cars aswell, you shall probably have
your axchange partner, written as codriver.

Q: Who pays the bills?
A: Normally exchangers keep on paying their own bills for telephone, newspapers, internet etc.
but you can if you and your exchange partner want to make special agreements.

Q: What if the exchange deal get cancelled in last minute?
A: There is a few things you can do trying to prevent this situation, make an agreement with your
exchange partner, that you buy the airplane tickets, at the same time.
You can see if it is possible to get a travel insurance to cover in this kind of case.
And finally, we will remove users from our database, who have cancelled without solid reason
in last minute.

Q: What if i have some more specific conditions than them you mention in the sign in form?
A: You can either choose to write the conditions in your listning, or you can mention them
for your exchange partner, when you start writing together.

Q: I get a lot of request for home trading through your site do i have to answer them all?
A: Yes you have, if its really is a lot, you can have a standard answar, but please answar all.

Q: I have some valuable items, in my house i dont whant my exchange partner to use, what do i do?
A: Either lock them away in a safe, a spare room or at a friend, but remember that the main idea of
home exchange is that everybody get a fully equiped house to disposal.

Q: Do you promise that i get an exchange?
A: Sorry, that we can not do, but we will through this site give you a very good
chance of making one.

Q: Do house exchangers experience many problems, and what are they?
A: No, generaly there are very few problems, probably, because most home exchangers
are openminded people, the most commen disagreements are about cleaning standars,
this can be due to cultural and individual believes, in what good cleaning standard
is, we therefor always, ask our users to make sure the house they leave is at least,
as clean as when they arrived.

Q: I have pets is this a problem?
A: No, just be sure to mention it for your exchange partner, also, in the case they have
any allergicsin the family, and if they dont want to look after your pet, let your pet
stay at a friend or neighbor.

Q: What if i dont speak the language of where i want to go?
A: Somehow most home exchangers, who dont speak a commen language, manage to go by the initial
parts, either through language skilled friends, through some om the free translatters on the internet, or through making
the writting very simple.
